Initial Hold Placement: Security deposit authorizations are placed on the guest’s payment method 3 days before their scheduled arrival date. This gives the property advance protection and allows time to address any payment issues before the guest arrives.
Hold Duration by Card Type:
Most card types: 7 complete calendar days from the authorization date
Visa cards: 5 complete calendar days from the authorization date
Standard Release Schedule: Under normal circumstances, the authorization hold will automatically release 2 days after the guest’s checkout date, assuming the entire stay falls within the original hold period.
Extended Stay Scenarios: If the guest’s reservation extends beyond what the original 7-day (or 5-day for Visa) authorization can cover, OR if their stay would extend past the planned 2-day post-checkout release window, the system will:
Automatically release the original authorization
Immediately place a new authorization for the same deposit amount
Reset the timeline with the new authorization following the same schedule
Example Timeline:
Guest checks in Friday, checks out Sunday (2-night stay)
Authorization placed: Tuesday (3 days before Friday arrival)
Authorization expires: Following Tuesday (7 days later)
Planned release: Tuesday (2 days after Sunday checkout)

Please note that the building does not have on-site staff or a designated package room. For this reason, we discourage shipping packages to the property, as deliveries cannot be monitored or secured. We recommend using a nearby pickup location or delivery service.
Location & Access
You will receive detailed check-in instructions, including a smart lock access code, 2 hours prior to your arrival. Please ensure that guest verification is completed in advance so the instructions can be sent on schedule.
We are located close to major landmarks, restaurants, and public transit. A local guide is available in your welcome packet.
